"What is a Sea Monkey?" we hear you cry! Well, these tiny creatures are in fact a hybrid breed of brine shrimp that was created in 1957 by Harold von Braunhut. The really cool thing about them is that their eggs go into a kind of "cryptobiosis" when they're dry. So the eggs look like dust, but when you add water to them they start to grow tails and an eye! Eventually they grow two more eyes and a monkey-like tail.
